Profile
Suhru & Lieb Vineyards is a North Fork wine producer built around a clear sense of place and a strong estate-vineyard foundation. The winery emphasizes fruit-forward, approachable wines shaped by Long Island’s maritime growing conditions and by a sustainability-first farming program across 54 acres of certified sustainable, estate-grown vineyards.
The operation brings together two recognized Long Island labels, Lieb Cellars and Suhru Wine,s under one unified identity, with a history rooted in the North Fork since the early 1990s and a focus on expressing site character through careful viticulture and thoughtful winemaking.
Its vineyard program is unusually specific and diverse, spanning multiple estate sites and a broad range of plantings. A distinctive point of differentiation is the winery’s claim of the largest contiguous Pinot Blanc planting in the United States, alongside classic regional varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
As a destination, Suhru & Lieb is positioned for both casual and more elevated tasting experiences, offering indoor and outdoor seating, curated tastings, wines by the glass or bottle, and periodic upgrades such as library-room experiences. The calendar is designed to make the winery a repeat visit, supported by events and recurring live music programming.
